You had a very hectic weak and now you are craving for a long and relaxing holiday. But that's obviously not possible when you have just one day off in a week. But hey, how about a one day trip to some really exciting places near your city? Sounds great, isn't it? There may be so many places in your city outskirts which you haven't visited yet and trust me; you are missing out on much.
I'll be city specific here because it is one of the most beautiful and rich-culture cities on India. And it is none other than 'Jaipur'. For a day out, I would recommend you these 10 offbeat places rather the clichéd spots like Amer Fort, Jal Mahal or Nahargarh. Check them out!
Sambhar – The Salt Lake
Located 96 km south west of the city, The Sambhar Salt Lake is India's largest inland salt lake. This bowl shape lake encircles historical Sambhar Lake Town.
You can spend the whole day with your friends or family even camping out. And when you'll return home, you will come with a very unique experience.
Aathuni Kund
It is an offbeat place on your way to very clichéd spot, Nahargarh. It is a semi-trekking place just 15 km away from your Jaipur. Once you reach the place, park your vehicle at Charan Mandir and then trek down to the whole way.
You can have a lot of gossip with your friends while trekking down and can also have long chats with your sweetheart.
Elephant Farm
Elephant farm is one of the most informative farms around the city. It offers you various fun activities while providing you information about the biggest mammal present on the earth.

Chandlai Lake

Kanota Dam

Virat Nagar

Bhangarh
